Canford Heath Bungalow

I was invited to design a lounge concept for this client, who had just purchased and moved into a new bungalow which had so much potential but lacked much thought or soul, we had a lovely blank canvas to work with here, however they had already bought furniture for another property that had sadly fallen through, and I needed to find a way to work with it in this space, albeit it was quite big for the room! I was asked to create a focal point fireplace, that we could incorporate their television, bring warm colourful tones into the room, dress the windows, agreed to update the kitchen worktops that peek through the opening behind the dining table, and to incorporate lighting which came from inset ceiling to update the look, we also installed LED lighting around the fireplace to complete the look and further warm the room up.. we had bespoke cushions made with Warwick fabric to dress the leather sofas and the client then added their grandfather clock and collection of pictures and accessories to make it home .. we up-cycled their cabinets to match the room as they had sentimental value, and they slotted in perfectly to display their effects, not forgetting “Peaches” little chair which was painted with bespoke cushions added! Lucky pup! This was such an enjoyable project to work on, the client was a dream to work for.. thank you to those who afford me the opportunity to do what I love ❤️
See how it was before we started…
